QA Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Shift-left implementation: Promote and implement a shift-left strategy by embedding testing activities early in the SDLC, enabling developers and teams to identify issues sooner and improve the development flow.
• Testing strategy definition: Develop and maintain a comprehensive testing strategy covering functional, integration, regression, performance, and automation practices. Ensure alignment with development standards and business expectations.
• Process standardization across teams: Establish unified QA processes, templates and best practices across multiple teams. Support in adopting consistent approaches to test planning, execution, automation and reporting
• Collaboration and leadership: Act as a bridge between developers, testers, product owners and business stakeholders. Mentor QA engineers, facilitate quality discussions, and champion continuous improvement across teams from requirement to release.

Technical Skills

• Testing strategy and QA Frameworks (must have): Demonstrated experience defining large-scale testing strategies and implementing reliable QA frameworks.
• Shift-left and automation practices (must have): Strong understanding of early-phase testing, CI/CD integration, and automation-first approaches.
• Tooling and test infrastructure (should have): Hands-on experience with modern QA tooling (e.g. test automation frameworks, CI/CD tools, quality dashboards).
• Process definition and standardization (must have): Ability to design and roll out standardized QA processes across multiple teams.
• Risk-based testing and release readiness (should have): Understanding quality gates, release criteria, and risk evaluation models.
